I absolutely love my Manic Panic eyeshadows, they are smooth and very colorful! So I decided to shell out some dough and invest in a few more colors. On the way to my PO BOX as we speak are the colors Belladonna (a dark purple, shown above), Deadly Nightshade (a light purple), Pussy Galore (a bright pink). I mostly got these colors because they match my recent set of dread falls. ;)

I want a whole collection of dramatic, brightly colored shadows. Unfortunately, Manic Panic's selection is fairly limited (no where near the massive spectrum of their hair dyes) so I may have to look elsewhere for some colors. I want a really bright green, for example.

MAC is fantastic stuff, and even though they have an ENORMOUS selection of colors. Nothing that I've ever seen (and I have meandered by the MAC counter a few times in my life) comes close to being that extreme. They have a great selection, but all of them are still within normal limits. Stargazer and Urban Decay are other possibilities.

I see on Ebay people selling these HUGE palettes of extreme professional (or so they say) shadows. But, I have to be suspicious of the quality.

People will often compliment me on my make-up jobs. Which feels really good since I'm fairly new to the whole thing (thanks klemrev for your help!). I've been told that because I am a painter, "painting" on the face just comes naturally. And I DO so love it!! I want very much to have an excuse to buy one of those giant palettes. I need to do make-up more often... increase my skill.

There are some girls that usually have fantastic make-up out at the club (bluemadusa and funktress are fine examples), so I make sure to take every second I can to study their compositions.

I just need to find some guinea pigs for me to practice on.
