LATE HAKA KITTY!! DIS B-DAY!!
Today is Dis' 5th Birthday.**
And I celebrate it with a Haka Kitty comic (that is late, no less).



Seems like an important milestone...
Wish I had it in me to celebrate...
Life still fucked up right now...
Right now I'm mostly trying to keep myself alive...
(emotionally, and by extension, physically)...
I am going to finish out this story arc, but after that, I dunno...
I might end the webcomic...
I had planned out a full ten years...
but I just don't have the strength right now...




** (Five years being online. But it existed on paper before that... so Dis is actually more like six or seven years old.)

If you do end Dis please make a book and self publish, I know I'd buy a few copies keep a couple and give some to my friends. but I hope we don't see it go. I always look forward to getting my dis fix, but i know you have some tough times now and some tough ones ahead of you honey. So I hope everything works out for you honey. I won't be too disappointed if you have to hang it up, maybe you could just put it on Hiatus for a few months to a year if anything.

Just wanted to pop in a comment to say I have really enjoyed reading Dis ever since I somehow found my way here. It easily sits in my top 5, being a daily check for updates, your wry sense of humor and ability to sit back and make fun of things some people take too seriously is a breath of fresh air.

Wish it didn't force me to have an account (which I don't remember), but such is life.

I think it's safe to say all of your regular readers would severely miss the comic if you chose to end it, but as everyone else has said, we care about your wellbeing a whole lot more. You've kept this up for far longer than most people would, and it's pretty obvious you've poured your heart and soul into it for all of the way. If Dis has to end in order for you to focus on your life, then so be it... just please don't let Brynn end. We love you.

I've been following dis for a long while. I remember the first birthday... I'll be very sad to see it go. Dis is the only comic I've followed from start to finish and the only comic that was able to make me smile (and sometimes laugh) during some of the darkest times of my life. I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't miss it. You've always said that there would be an ending one day.
